# What tire size should I choose for my wheel setup?
## Choosing the right tire size depends on your wheel width, suspension setup, and driving style. Use our guided fitment on our homepage or reach out to our sales team and we will help find the perfect fit for you.
Choosing the right tire size for your wheels is one of the most important parts of building out your setup. The right tire size affects everything from fitment and clearance to ride quality and overall appearance. Here is what to consider when making your decision.
**Use our guided fitment**
The easiest way to find the right tire size for your vehicle is to use our guided fitment on our homepage. Simply enter your year, make, and model and we will provide you with curated options. You can choose between an Easy Fit option that bolts right on with no modifications, or an Aggressive Fit option for a wider, more aggressive look that may require some trimming.
**Talk to our sales team**
Not sure where to start? Our sales team is here to help! Reach out to us and one of our experts will walk you through your options based on your vehicle, goals, and budget. We make it easy to find the perfect setup for your build.
**Match your tire to your wheel width**
Tire and wheel width go hand in hand. Running a tire that is too narrow or too wide for your wheel can affect performance, safety, and the overall look of your build. As a general rule, wider wheels pair best with wider tires to get the most out of your setup.
**Consider your ride height and suspension**
Your suspension setup plays a big role in determining what tire size will fit your vehicle without rubbing. A lifted setup will generally have more room for a larger tire, while a stock suspension setup may have more limitations. Always check fender and suspension clearance before committing to a tire size.
**Think about your driving style**
The way you use your vehicle should influence your tire choice:
- **Off-road and trail use:** Larger, more aggressive tires with deeper tread provide better traction on dirt, mud, and rocky terrain
- **Daily driving:** A more moderate tire size offers a smoother, quieter ride on the street
- **Show builds:** Larger tires paired with the right wheel size create a bold, aggressive look
**Tire type matters too**
Beyond size, consider what type of tire fits your needs:
- **All-terrain:** A great balance of on-road and off-road performance
- **Mud terrain:** More aggressive tread for serious off-road use, but louder on the highway
- **Rugged terrain:** A blend of all-terrain and mud terrain features for a slightly more aggressive option
- **Highway:** Designed for smooth, quiet on-road performance
**Still have questions?**
There are a lot of variables involved in finding the perfect tire size, including your specific year, make, model, trim level, wheel size, and ride height. Contact us and our team will be happy to help you find the perfect fit for your build!
